- PTA members can earn this award by taking part in advocacy activities at local, state and federal levels within a one-year time period (March 1 – February 28). PTA members who accumulate 150 or more advocacy-based points will earn an Ohio PTA Advocacy Award. The award consists of a certificate, pin, and recognition at the Ohio PTA Convention and in the Ohio PTA publication, The News.
- PTA members can earn this award by taking part in family, school and community partnership activities at the local, state, and national levels within a one year time period (October 1 – September 30). PTA members who
accumulate 150 or more FSP points will earn an Ohio PTA Family-School Partnership Certificate of Achievement Award. The award consists of a pin and certificate as well as recognition at the Ohio PTA Convention and in the Ohio PTA publication, The News.
Gold Key Leadership Award
- The Gold Key Program allows PTA leaders, future leaders, and those who are simply interested in learning all they can about PTA. The three steps build on each other and allow the recipient to truly learn skills that are valued in many walks of life. The recipient earns a gold key and certificate as part of the recognition for their efforts.They are also honored at the Ohio PTA Convention.
